12 Picks: trusted recommendations between friends
12 Picks is an app to share and discover personal recommendations for service providers (bars, plumbers, babysitters, etc.). Users give a “Pick” to people or services they know and like.
To show relevant suggestions, the app uses the user’s contact list (via Google People API) and matches it with Picks from others. This data is never shared publicly or used for any other purpose.
12 Picks is meant for local, social use among real, trusted people. Access to contacts is only used to surface connections.
